Farm life has really invited me to deepen into awareness of relationships. This applies on many levels: there are the relationships with the animals, the land and the plants. There are relationships with customers, support team and vendors I work with. There is also the relationship with myself and with the interconnected spirit of all of this.
Relationships have always been a focus for me. When I look at business, all I see are these same kinds of relationships-- with customers, vendors, team members, the biz itself, yourself and spirit. And, I always return back to how I would want to be treated in a relationship to consider how I want to treat the relationships that make up my business.
When relationships are considered.... you are treating others in your sphere of influence with respect, kindness, humanity and inclusion. You are marketing from the heart and connection rather from shame and pressure. It is core human nature to desire connection and to be seen and wanted for who we are. Honoring the relationships in your business builds success while providing that kind of care which is what attracts more abundance and energy into your business.
Your people want to know that they MATTER.
I see lots of folks learn and implement a variety of strategies to grow their business and often I see that these strategies either have short term success or fall flat with minimal return.
I believe that strategies need to be chosen and implemented with awareness to the relationships involved as well as that strategy's relationship to yourself and your overall business.
When Strategies + Relationships + Your Values are all in alignment, you can sustainably grow a business that feels really good and nourishing to you with minimal hustle.
